On Thursday night in Game 5, the Washington Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights took the ice before the game for the normal warmup routine.
During the warmup, Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury met Alex Ovechkin at the center-ice redline.
The former Penguins netminder and 3-time Stanley Cup Trophy winner gave the Capitals Captain a little whack a cross the legs during the warmup.

As a general unwritten rule in hockey, no player is supposed to cross over the redline. Ovechkin has recorded 2 goals and 4 points in this series.

It is not clear what Fleury was trying to prove here, but Ovechkin did not seem phased by Fleury’s on-ice antics.
