The Washington Capitals held a practice on Wednesday afternoon at T-Mobile Arena. It was a deja vu session in more ways than one. First Lars Eller kicked things off with the hot lap. Then as line rushes began there were no changes.

Here’s how the Capitals lined up:
Forwards
Ovechkin-Kuznetsov-Wilson
Vrana-Backstrom-Oshie
Burakovsky-Eller-Connolly
Stephenson-Beagle-Smith-Pelly
Defense
Kempny-Carlson
Orlov-Niskanen
Orpik-Djoos
This comes as no surprise. The Capitals have won three straight games and are on the cusp of their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
