Evgeny Kuznetsov Leaves the Ice After Hit by Brayden McNabb in the First Period

At 14:37 of the opening period of Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Washington Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights, a scare happened to Capitals top-line center Evgeny Kuznetsov.

Coming up ice with the puck after receiving a pass, Kuznetsov was leveled along the boards near center ice by Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb.

Here’s the video replay.

Kuznetsov skated off the ice and headed to the locker room clutching his left arm/hand/wrist.

Kuznetsov did not come back out during the second period and is “questionable” to return to the game.

Kuznetsov wasn’t on the ice for the third period.
