After dropping Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final series against the Tampa Bay Lightning, numerous Washington Capitals players hit the ice at Kettler Capitals Iceplex for an optional practice on Wednesday. If you couldn’t make it out this afternoon, NoVa Caps has you covered with what went on!

Nicklas Backstrom, Shane Gersich, and Travis Boyd took part in this unique puck handling drill. This drill involved a bit of light contact and some stick checking.

The Capitals will be back at Kettler Thursday for a morning skate prior to Game 4.
