How the Capitals will Line Up for Game 5

The Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins will now embark on a best of three series after the Penguins evened the series Thursday night. Game 5 is Saturday night with puck drop at 7 p.m. Prior to the game, the team held a morning skate at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. Here is what the lines will look like based on the early rushes.

Ovechkin-Kuznetsov-Smith Pelly
Starting goalie: Braden Holtby

There were no changes to the line up from Game 4. Once again, Devante Smith-Pelly will be on the top line. Jakub Vrana will remain on the third line and Shane Gersich will be on the fourth line for his second playoff game.

We’ll have more on the day from Kettler later so check back to NoVa Caps for all your second round coverage.
