The Washington Capitals got back to work at Kettler Capitals Iceplex after a day off on Friday looking to correct some mistakes from Game 1’s defeat. If you couldn’t make it to practice, we’ve got you covered. Here were the scenes from Saturday’s practice.

Jay Beagle was back on the ice wearing a white jersey and fully participating with his teammates after recovering from an upper-body injury.

The special teams was hard at work. In Game 1, both teams scored twice on the power play.

Michal Kempny also practiced with the team after leaving Game 1 when got hit into the boards.

Pheonix Copley, who was brought up from Hershey as a third goalie, practiced. At the end of the session he faced shots from the forwards.

For our Hershey Bears readers, here’s Travis Boyd up against Copley. Boyd was back practicing with the team after an illness sidelined him for about a week.

The tire made it’s triumphant return!

Shane Gersich was getting a little frustrated with the drill but he finally got the pass through.

Morning skate is tomorrow at 10:15 a.m. before the Capitals continue their first round matchup with the Columbus Blue Jackets that night.
