Following an exciting game on Monday night in an overtime win over the Jets that saw Alex Ovechkin score his 600th goal, a handful of Capitals players hit the ice at Kettler Capitals Iceplex for an optional practice to work on their game. Now that a milestone has been achieved, they can now set their sights on the road ahead which promises to be an interesting and bumpy ride. The passing drills got more interesting as they added some footwork element with Gatorade bottles and sticks on the ice.

The forwards did extra work with the Gatorade bottles by skating around them before flinging a shot towards the net and then deflecting the puck.
