It’s always a lively affair when the Caps and Flyers face off, and the Washington Capitals Fan Club has secured tickets to the Caps’ upcoming game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday, March 18 at 5 PM at Wells Fargo Center. The bus trip will give Caps fans a great opportunity to get a preview of a potential playoff matchup between the two longtime rivals who are jockeying for the top spot in the Metropolitan Division.

The trip, which includes bus service to and from Philadelphia as well as lower level (Section 108) tickets, costs $190. The Fan Club is also offering a ticket only option without the bus.

The bus will leave from Greenbelt Metro at approximately 1 PM and may include a stop at White Marsh.  The Fan Club will have a First Goal Contest as well as a raffle of pucks and a signed used stick.

This will be the last time the two teams meet in the regular season. With just 18 games left in the regular season for the Capitals, they lead the Metropolitan Division by one point over the Flyers. The Capitals are 1-1-1 against the Flyers this year.

The trip is open to all Caps fans, not just club members. Fans interested in additional information or in signing up can contact John Lange at trips@capsfanclub.org.

Additional information on the Fan Club is available at https://www.capsfanclub.org .

Hope the bus, and fans have plenty of insurance. Always dangerous for Caps fans at that arena!

It’s also possible to do a “Tickets Only” option. We had wanted to do that Flyers game but had plans for other activities in the region we wanted to do. So I talked to them about doing “tickets only” and that’s what I’m doing. (Someone else is also doing Tickets Only.)
