HERSHEY, PA – In case you missed it, the Hershey Bears and Capitals traded Hubert Labrie and John Albert to the Hartford Wolf Pack for Joe Whitney and Adam Chapie on Friday. Oddly enough, the two teams met for a game the very next day at the Giant Center. I guess the boys just took their bags over a locker room, and they were ready to go.
As far as the game went, it looks like Albert and Labrie joined the winning side, as the Bears continued their losing streak falling to the Wolf Pack 5-2. Hershey has now lost 12 of their last 13 games and currently rank last in the Atlantic Division and 28th in the AHL. Ouch. Hershey will look to turn things around against the Rochester Americans, completing their three-in-three weekend.
Joe Whitney joins the Bears.
Adam Chapie is here, too.
As you can see, Whitney isn’t a very tall guy standing next to Hobbs as he kneels.
Just because I liked this one of Siegenthaler.
Barber shoots one top cheddar.
First look at Labrie (left) in a Wolf Pack sweater.
Colby Williams can’t stop and runs into Copley as the Wolf Pack score.
I know it’s a Wolf Pack celly, but that guy is floating, soooo
More Wolf Pack goals – ugh.
John Albert takes the face off against his former teammate. This has gotta be weird.
Synchronized skating. Maybe Barber should’ve went with Bourque to the Olympics. 😉
The Captain isn’t afraid to mix it up in front of the net.
Gazley gets the Bears on the board.
Joe Whitney mans the point on the PP, filling in for Bourque will he’s playing for Team USA.
Aaron Ness tries a sweet move on Hartford’s netminder.
O’Brien gets the Bears second goal on a wrap around.
When Vitek is sad, we’re all sad.
