Last month, Capitals players and fans “went all in” for a fun night of games all in the name of charity. Caps Casino Night is an annual hit that allowed fans to mingle with their favorite players, play games with them, and even bid on some one of a kind experiences with players. You can check out our photo gallery from Caps Casino Night here.
Some lucky fans won an experience of clay shooting at the Bull Run Shooting Center in Centreville with Nicklas Backstrom, Jay Beagle, Taylor Chorney and Matt Niskanen.
Other auction winners got to take part in Escape Room Live at Georgetown with Alex Ovechkin, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Dmitry Orlov and Devante Smith-Pelly. Escape Room Live is a real life escape game with special themed rooms such as Friday the 13th, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Titanic, The Mummy, and Ghostbusters. No matter which room you’re in, it’s a great team building experience as players solve riddles, find clues, and crack codes.
Other winners got to have some fun at Top Golf in Alexandria with Tom Wilson, T.J. Oshie, Lars Eller, Chandler Stephenson and Brett Connolly.
Another player experience that some auction winners received was a wine tasting experience at Dirty Habit in DC with Alex Chiasson, John Carlson, Braden Holtby, and Brooks Orpik.
Each of these activities looked like a fun way for each auction winner to interact with the players and get to know them on a more personal level off the ice. Be sure to check out Caps Casino Night next season and maybe you could win a one-of-a-kind auction experience.
