The Washington Capitals spent part of their off-day on Wednesday at Top Golf in Ashburn, Virginia for their annual “Wish Upon a Par” event, presented by Make A Wish Mid-Atlantic. The event, coordinated by Brooks and Erin Orpik, gave Caps fans the opportunity to spend time with Caps players, with all proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic.
Capitals fans enjoyed golf and gaming with players including Nicklas Backstrom, Jay Beagle, Madison Bowey, Andre Burakovsky, John Carlson, Alex Chiasson, Taylor Chorney, Brett Connolly, Christian Djoos, Lars Eller, Phillip Grubauer, Brooks Orpik, T.J. Oshie, Matt Niskanen, Devante Smith-Pelly, Chandler Stephenson, Tom Wilson and Jakub Vrana, as well as head coach Barry Trotz. NoVa Caps’ photographer Joseph Noyes was on hand to capture a few of the images from the event.

I see lots of smiles and golfing. Also lots of giant sized Jenga blocks and Connect 4 pieces.
