Nathan Walker is back. After the Capitals placed him on waivers on the final day of November, the Capitals lost him as he was picked up by the Edmonton Oilers. On Tuesday, Edmonton placed Walker on waivers and today at noon the Capitals claimed him.
Walker will report directly to the Capitals, who are heading to Arizona to get ready for their game Friday night against the Coyotes.

Walker appeared in two games with the Oilers and hasn’t suited up in a Capitals game since Nov. 16 in Colorado. He made NHL history earlier in the year becoming the first Australian-born athlete to play in the NHL and he scored in his very first NHL game.
