Pheonix Copley Fights in Hershey Bears’ 6-2 Loss

I know most of you are here to see the goalie fight, so I’ll keep it short, but if you want to know more about how the game went, read a little more in-depth game recap here

PA-native Dylan Margonari gets a recall from the South Carolina Stingrays.

Everyone’s favorite play-by-play guy Doc Emrick was in Chocolatetown for the Hall of Fame Night.

Bryan Helmer with predecessor Doug Yingst, who is now a Hershey Bears Hockey Hall of Famer.

Assistant Coach Ryan Murphy chats with Lucas Johansen before the start of the game.

Lewington drops the mitts and Pheonix Copley gets some inspiration for his fight later.

Welcome to the team, Margonari!

That looks like it hurts.

Garrett Mitchell stops pucks.

And throws punches.

Everyone just punch someone now!

How about a little goalie action, now?

In case you didn’t know it, these two were former teammates with the Chicago Wolves, which is probably why Pheonix is so smiley.

There goes the equipment!

The gloves are off – let’s do this!

Pheonix is so cool. I mean his name is Pheonix – c’mon!

Some of the other players who were just fighting each other are now taking  a front row seat for the event of the evening.

I’ve always wanted to see a goalie fight and now I can check it off my list.

Of course, you have to skate off looking wicked cool after the fight.
Not the typical gear you see on the ice after a sprawl.
But we’re back to the action, and Riley Barber scored a shorthanded beauty.

Big Bau blocking the goalie.

Sad bruins and half of a celebrating Liam O’Brien.

Ugh. Same.
