HERSHEY, PA — On Saturday night’s matchup against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Hershey Bears dominated with a 6-1 in front of a packed Giant Center crowd. Check out the full recap here and scroll down for some photos from the evening.
In honor of Veterans Day, the Bears dawned specialty American flag jerseys.
When its 11/11 and you realize you wear number 11.
A view of the back of the specialty jerseys.
Zach Sill pesting the goalies in warm ups. No wayyyy.
Look at that face.
There was also a pre-game proposal! Congrats to the happy couple.
Good luck living up to that fellas. 🙂
Garrett Mitchell chips the puck around the Phantoms’ defensemen.
And scores a beauty of a goal! Woo!
The Captain leading his little Bears to the bench.
I just like Chris Bourque sitting in the penalty box.
Mathias Bau is 6’7″. Chris Bourque is 5’7″. That’s a foot size difference there.
Tyler Lewington adds another tally for the Bears.
“Hey Tyler. Nice goal.”
Riley smash!
Bau’s size definitely comes in handy in front of the goalies.
Our goalies are back!
The stick salute is even more special on Veterans Day.
Phew. What a win!
Good to have him get a win at home after his return from injury.
With a two-goal performance, Mathias Bau is the first star of the game!
The Denmark-native’s English is coming along pretty well.
Glad to have you around Bau! Let’s keep it going!
