On Tuesday afternoon, the Capitals official Twitter account tweeted a video of Evgeny Kuznetsov and Dmitry Orlov taking part in a game of Operation. Operation, the popular board game made by Hasbro, is a game that tests both your hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
The game consists of an operating table where players operate on a patient (drawn on the board) with a large red light bulb on his nose. On the surface of the operating table are openings on the patient’s body, arms, legs and head that reveal bones filled with fictional and humorously named plastic ailments. The object of the game is to remove these ailments with tweezers without touching the edge of the opening. If you touch the edge of the opening, it’ll make a buzzer sound.
In this latest board game contest between two Capitals players, whoever was the first to remove three plastic ailments successfully wins the game. I’m not gonna reveal who won, I’m just going to leave it to you to watch this video and find out for yourself.
Steady… steady… STEADY!! @orlov_09 and @Kuzya92 FACEOFF in a game of Operation! #ALLCAPS pic.twitter.com/ay1zDeHAxP

I remember playing Operation back as a young teenager when my 12 year old sister had gotten it for Christmas.
So this is the Year of the Board Games for players, especially our young Russians. I remember when back first development camp back in 2010 when they both attended and they stole Red Velvet Cupcakes that were meant for the media. And were captured in a photo. (That was Dima’s 2nd D-camp and Kuzy’s first one.)
