Capitals’ Lines and Goaltender for Tonight’s Game Against the Penguins

The Capitals held their gameday morning skate at 10:30 this morning at Kettler Capitals Iceplex. The big questions heading into today’s practice were lineup-based: 1) would Barry Trotz make any changes to his defensive pairings, most notably the third pair and 2) would Trotz make any changes to the bottom six forwards. 

It looks like Christian Djoos will replace Taylor Chorney on the bottom pair, defensively, and Tyler Graovac will replace Nathan Walker on the 4th line.

This will be Christen Djoos’ NHL debut tonight against Pittsburgh.

Braden a holtby will get the start in goal for the Capitals. The Capitals expected lineup for tonight:
