Washington Capitals Morning Skate Report from Tampa

The Capitals held their gameday morning skate Monday morning at Amalie Arena in Tampa. The two big questions heading into the game against the Lightning tonight? Will Nathan Walker Start his second consecutive game or will Tyler Graovac return to the starting lineup, and will Christian Djoos finally get a start in the NHL.

Lines at morning skate indicate that Nathan Walker will once again get the start over Tyler Graovac on the 4th line. Philipp Grubauer will get the start in goal.

Defensive pairs will remain the same as Saturday night against Montreal:

Orlov-Niskanen
Orpik-Carlson
Ness-Chorney

It looks like Christian Djoos will once again be a healthy scratch, indicating his first start may come against Pittsburgh at home on Wednesday night or in New Jersey on Friday night.

Mojo is off to a good start in NJ and I still think they should have kept Mojo and traded Beags and Eller… Winnik should have been kept as well… Ness had an assist last game but after that, he doesnt do much… so lets talk about the Jets and a couple of other teams for future trade targets for Grubbie + something = ????
