Hershey Bears Lose First Game of 80th Season (Photos)

The Hershey Bears started the 80th season in Allentown, Pa., taking on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. I’m sure it wasn’t the exact start they wanted to get off to, losing to Lehigh 7-2.

It should be fun to watch these two teams play each other 11 more times this season. Clinching a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division is going to be a race this year, for sure. Let’s check out some of the photos from Saturday’s game.

With Pheonix Copley and Vitek Vanecek injured, Adam Carlson fills in as backup for tonight’s matchup.

Connor Hobbs having some fun in warmups.

Just relaxin’ in the crease.

Zach Sill working some defense.

Face-off focus.

A little huddle after Chandler Stephenson scores the Bears’ first goal of the 80th season.

When you crash the crease, score a goal, and have to high five your teammates from the ice.

Unfortunately, this would be the last goal the Bears would score this evening.

=)

O’Brien hits the ice for the third.

The Captain.

You sure you want to go?
