On Saturday night, the Capitals will partake in their second game of the season and their first at home as they host Karl Alzner and the Montreal Canadiens. While the puck drop for the game itself isn’t until 7 p.m., fans can take part in what has become an annual tradition outside of the building on F Street

For the third year in a row, the Capitals will host a “Rock the Red carpet” event where all Capitals players will arrive to Capital One Arena via a Lexus automobile with preselected fans. Once they arrive, players will stop to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans on their way into the arena. The event will take place from 3:30-5 p.m.
