Highlights from Tuesday’s Shootout Contest

The Capitals concluded Tuesday’s Training Camp practice sessions with a shootout contest. The players who participated included T.J. Oshie, Nicklas Backstrom, Andre Burakovsky and Alex Ovechkin. The goaltenders included Braden Holtby, Philipp Grubauer and Pheonix Copley. Here are some video highlights.

Philipp Grubauer stops T.J. Oshie.

But Oshie would later redeem himself.

Evgeny Kuznetsov shows off a nice move, setting up a preview on what he’d do later on.

Braden Holtby uses the splits to stop Andre Burakovsky.

Then it was Pheonix Copley’s turn. Poor Burkie 😦

Finally the shootout highlight ends with the goal of the day. Kuzy switches hands and one-hands the puck into the net.
