The Capitals made more cuts this afternoon following today’s practice. The recent cuts included six players, trimming the Caps roster to 30 men. The current roster includes 17 forwards, 10 defensemen and three goalies.
Among the cuts, Washington released Jyrki Jokipakka from PTO and loaned Riley Barber, Colby Williams, and Parker Milner to Hershey. In addition to those moves, the Capitals placed Zach Sill and Liam O’Brien on waivers for the purpose of loaning them to the Bears. For an updated roster click here.

The current training camp roster:
With 30 players left, the Capitals must trim their roster down to 23 at the end of camp. This means there are seven players that remain to be sent back to the minors. Among those that still remain are forwards Travis Boyd, Alex Chiasson, Tyler Graovac, and Anthony Peluso along with defensemen Madison Bowey, Christian Djoos, Tyler Lewington, Aaron Ness, and Jonas Siegenhaler.
