NBC Sports to air 15 Capitals games in the Regular Season

Today, the NHL on NBC Sports announced their schedule for 2017-18. NBC networks will air 15 Capitals games, 13 of which will be on NBCSN. 

Highlights of the schedule include two games vs. the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins, three vs. the New York Rangers, and two vs. the Philadelphia Flyers. The Capitals’ Stadium Series game on March 3 at the U.S. Naval Academy against the Toronto Maple Leafs will be at 8 PM on NBC. The Caps also host the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday Night Rivalry on December 6 and play at the defending Western Conference Champion Nashville Predators on Tuesday, November 14. NBC will air the Super Bowl this year and will not televise the Capitals game vs. the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday, February 4, 2018.

CSN Mid Atlantic will air the rest of the Capitals games this season and will release its schedule later this summer. All of the dates below are subject to change. NHL Network should release its television schedule soon as well.

Wed., Dec. 27 at NY Rangers NBCSN 8 p.m.
Thur., Dec. 28 vs. Boston NBCSN 7:30 p.m.
Sun., Jan. 21 vs. Philadelphia NBC 12:30 p.m.
Wed., Jan. 31 vs. Philadelphia NBCSN 8 p.m.
Sat., March 3 vs. Toronto NBC 8 p.m.
Tue., March 6 at Anaheim NBCSN 10 p.m.
Thur., March 22 at Detroit NBCSN 7:30 p.m.
Mon., March 26 at NY Rangers NBCSN 7:30 p.m.
Wed., March 28 vs. NY Rangers NBCSN 8 p.m.
Sun., April 1 at Pittsburgh NBCSN 7:30 p.m.

    That’s great… now if they will get rid of those pro penguin announcers I will enjoy the games even more
