HERSHEY, PA. — The Hershey Bears, in conjunction with the AHL, have released six guaranteed home dates for the 2017-2018 schedule. Among them is the previously announced 2018 Outdoor Classic on January 20 at HersheyPark Stadium and the home opener which is set for October 14, 2017.

The Bears also have guaranteed home games on October 28 and 29 (Saturday and Sunday) along with Saturday, November 11, and Sunday December 10.

The home opener is slated for Saturday, October 14. While the opponents are not yet set, the Bears typically open with a divisional rival or one of their in-state rivals. Neither the Lehigh Valley Phantoms nor the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have guaranteed home games that night.

Additionally, it was previously announced that Lehigh Valley will be Hershey’s opponent at the Outdoor Classic on Saturday, January 20.

As always, the Bears have plenty of ticket packages available including full season, 22-games, 12-games, and a flex-10 game plan. You can call (717) 508-BEAR or visit their website for more details. Ticket packages start as low as $195 per seat. We have a guide to Giant Center and the surrounding area to help you along as well.

About HB Hockey

After all these years, I've realized that it's time to just do what I want when I want. I love all things sports, but it just doesn't pay the bills, so I'm not quitting my day job just yet.
