After an exciting finish to the first round series against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Hershey Bears faced a challenge in Game One against the Providence Bruins. The team came out strong, but after Providence tallied three in the first, including two shorthanded goals, the Bears had an uphill battle for the rest of the game. The Bears have a big opportunity to bounce back on Sunday for Game Two. Luckily, this round is a best of seven series, but the Bears will have to find a way to sneak some past Providence’s red-hot goalie, Zane McIntyre.
See that little bit of blonde poking out there. Four of the Bears’ players went bleach blonde for the second round.
Some of the fans even got in on the blonde fun, wearing wigs to the game.

Even with a late goal from the Aussie, the Hershey Bears couldn’t make the comeback and dropped Game One 3-1.
