Hershey Bears Lose Game 3 in OT (Photos)

After two thrilling wins in Game One and Two, the Hershey Bears didn’t have the same outcome for Game Three. The game should’ve gone in the Bears favor, but a disallowed goal and odd bounce from the center red line gave the Lehigh Valley Phantoms the victory. In a best of five series, it certainly would’ve been nice to finish off the sweep, but the boys are back in Chocolatetown for Game Four on Saturday. Let’s hope we’re off to round two by then.

The fans are ready to cheer the boys on for Game 3.

Yeah, I think you should sit down and stop talking to me.

Tom Gilbert drives towards the net.

The fan reaction after Stanislav Galiev scored was priceless. I personally love the guy in stripes on the glass. I think I had the same reaction.

Is the ref watching? Just one more push of the head for good measure.

The Phantoms get really lucky as Riley Barber almost pops one in over the goal line.

Unfortunately, goals that almost go in don’t count on the scoresheet, but the boys are headed to Game 4 up 2-1 in the best of five series. Here’s to a bounce back win on Saturday – Go Bears!
