One could easily argue that Justin Williams was the Capitals’ MVP in their first round series with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Williams tallied three goals and three assists in the six games against the Leafs, including an assist on the series winning goal by Marcus Johansson. Yet Williams’ stellar series play was not enough to avoid a dreaded speeding ticket.
Williams tweeted out a portion of his speeding ticket just past 2:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Justin…welcome back to Washington DC. Here’s your speeding ticket👍pic.twitter.com/jroSqPZqdl

It’s not clear if William’s garnered the ticket on his way home from Dulles Airport early Monday morning, or if the ticket was waiting for him when got off the team’s charter at Dulles following the team’s return from Toronto. Either way, it’s fairly evident that there is one law enforcement officer who is not much of a hockey fan.

It was not a trooper but airport authority ticket that is what is in red, and it is not a parking ticket either
Trooper was a Leafs fan….. Justin just wanted to get home before rush hour
The cop was probably a penguins fan
