Barry Trotz: Lines May Be “Tweaked” for Game 3

Barry Trotz spoke with the media Sunday afternoon via conference call, before the team departed for Toronto. In his media session, he was asked about the current line combinations, and if there might be any changes coming for game 3.

Toronto’s head coach Mike Babcock will now control the matchups for games 3 and 4, and Trotz may want to solidify any foreseen vulnerabilities the Caps may face.

Trotz would not elaborate on where lines may be “tweaked” (Forwards or Defense), but any changes would most likely occur on the top two lines, if anywhere at all.
