He’s “trained” all year for this – the long layover in Toronto on the return trip from St. John’s. And he’s come up with some creative tricks on the ice for the media during warm-ups, but he’s saved his best for the Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Armed with a $5, some dental floss, and tape, Mitchell trolled the airport, with his latest trick, disappearing or flying money. And if the video below is any indication, he “caught” quite a few fish with this trick.
With the bill in plain sight, unsuspecting travelers would reach down to pick up the “lost” money and then most would laugh with Mitchell as they figured out that he was pulling it back with dental floss. Heck he even caught a member of the cleaning staff at the airport.
We’re compiling our “Fun With Mitchell” videos from this year’s home games from Giant Center into one end-of-season post. Keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, here’s lead vocalist, Garrett Mitchell in Part 3 of Mitchell, the One-Man Band.
