The Capitals had their annual team photo taken this morning and then held one last practice before departing for their season-long five game road trip. For many fans, it was their last chance seeing the Capitals until they return home next Wednesday night to host the Rangers. First stop on the trip is a journey north to Minnesota to take on the Wild tomorrow night. Oh and check out Andre Burakovsky and Justin Williams’ killer hair styles!

Once the team photo was taken, the team headed to the dressing room to change into their usual practice uniforms. Then they headed over to the public rink to begin the session.

After five-on-five, the team worked on the power play. Here is the top unit.
Practice concluded with the team stretch. The fourth line of Daniel Winnik, Jay Beagle and Tom Wilson remained on the ice for extra work. Wilson was the last man to leave the ice, as he worked on clearing the puck with assistant coach Lane Lambert.
