Carey, a 28-year-old native of Boston, MA has been enjoying a stellar season so far. He has been recalled several times this season to Washington. The 5th Round (#135 overall) pick by the Colorado Avalanche in 2007 is second on the team in scoring this season in Hershey with 55 points (24 goals, 31 assists) in 55 games. We’ve compiled his goals from his first professional hat trick against Hartford this past Saturday here.

This season, he debuted with the Capitals on November 20 against Columbus, one of his four games this season with the Caps. He also skated in four games last season with Washington, notching the game-tying goal against New Jersey late in the game for his first career NHL goal.
