Hershey Bears Defeat Binghamton Senators 3-1 (Photos)

In front of a sold out crowd, the Hershey Bears continued their home win streak defeating the Binghamton Senators 3-1. While the Bears currently hold third place in the Atlantic, they can’t let their foot of the gas, as the Providence Bruins and Bridgeport Sound Tigers aren’t far behind. Following the week’s trend of playing teams that will be defunct next season, the boys have a big weekend away with back-to-back games against the St. John’s Ice Caps.

I’ll never understand how they can do this.

Newly acquired defensemen Mattias Backman made his debut at home on Wednesday.

Just a couple of buddies.

I’ve noticed some heavy tape at the end of Madison’s socks now that he is back from injury.

Here hold my stick. I need to get an award.

Six goals and eight points in three games – pretty solid for the AHL/CCM Player of the Week.

Let’s quickly recap the game in photos – This is Hubert Labrie after notching his career-high third goal of the season.

Nathan Walker introduced himself to the Binghamton bench. Now, now there Aussie.

More defensemen scored. This time it was Tom Gilbert.

There were some hits.

There was some butt touching.

Chris Bourque saved the puck at the blue line one time.

Riley Barber was super happy when he scored.

This Binghamton Senators’ player was scared of the puck.

Riley gave his stick a little tender love and care.

Then, he had a penalty shot.

But he missed. Bummer.
Pheonix Copley smiled after a big win.

Garrett Mitchell was feeling the win.

And Madison Bowey high fived the whole team.

Finishing the night off with Pheonix in the spotlight. I’m so glad he’s back. Have I mentioned that before?
