Capitals Daily Report: Burakovsky will play Tomorrow Night

After falling last night to the Predators in overtime, the Capitals held a practice today at Kettler to prepare for tomorrow night’s tilt with the Lightning in Tampa. Andre Burakovsky participated in full pads and Jakub Vrana was reassigned to Hershey

PRACTICE
Andre Burakovsky took rushes on the third line with his fellow linemates Lars Eller and Brett Connolly.

Typically at practices, the Caps do drills on the public rink and then finish up over on the Capitals rink. While they changed rinks mid-practice, Burakovsky changed jerseys from white to red to work with the power play unit.

Burakovsky hit his left elbow during the power play drill but he’s okay.

After the team concluded practice, Burakovsky confirmed to reporters that he will play tomorrow night in Florida.
