The Hershey Bears are making a playoff push. While the weekend may not have started off the way the Bears had hoped with a loss to the Phantoms, the boys bounced back posting back-to-back wins on Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday’s tilt against the Providence Bruins was the big matchup of the weekend since the Bruins are only two points ahead of the Bears. After the win on Sunday, the Hershey Bears, Providence Bruins, and Bridgeport Sound Tigers are all tied with 77 points and vying for two open playoff spots. Stay tuned folks. It will be a nail bitter ’til the finish.

And at the end of the game the Bruins knew that they lost a big game so they decided to take out their frustrations.

When you’re trying to enjoy the stick salute, but the Providence Bruins refuse to go down the runway and accept the loss.
The Bruins insisted they were just getting a drink, so Zach Sill grabbed a water bottle and said he’s just drinking too. Then he stood there and waited until they all left the ice.
Man, am I glad we got this guy.
Number 1 star. It’s Stanislav Galiev’s world and we’re all just living in it.
