Beard Guy Preparing for Caps Game In Denver with New Design

Colorado resident Eric Brooks, most famous for the “Great 8” beard he debuted during the Capitals-Avalanche game on CSN in November, 2013, has been preparing for the Capitals upcoming annual visit to Colorado, which will include a new beard design.

Eric, originally from Maryland and now living in Fort Collins Colorado, debuted his new design on his Instagram account on Sunday evening. The new design steps away from his original tribute to Alex Ovechkin, and moves more towards a tribute to the entire team.

Eric is an Assistant Brewer @ Verboten Brewing, Illustrator, avid beardsman, father and huge Washington sports fan.

NoVa Caps commends Eric on his dedication to the Caps, and on the new beard design. We can’t wait to see it live when the Capitals visit the Pepsi Center on March 29th.
