There were two injuries during last night’s win over the Red Wings. Brett Connolly was one of the players who got injured. While he was able to complete the game, there was uncertainty as to whether or not he would be on the ice the next day.
Connolly injured himself just prior to his goal in the first period. While going after the puck, he collided with Danny DeKeyser into the boards. He got back up, got a rebound and put the puck in to tie the game at 2.
.@bconnolly8 just tied his career goal total, extended his goal streak to 3 games and point streak to 5 games 🔥 #CapsWingspic.twitter.com/BObqFpYKqh

Brett Connolly, who was limping a bit yesterday, is on the ice for practice today.
