Capitals Embark on Annual Mentors’ Trip: Part 1 (Photos)

The Capitals embarked on their annual mentors’ trip Wednesday afternoon following practice. The annual trip allows players to bring their father or friend along for a couple of road games. This year the mentors are along for this week’s mid-western swing, with stops in St. Louis and Dallas. A few of the photos from the first leg of the trip:

The team (and mentors) arrived in St. Louis around 5PM EST. Capitals announcer Joe Beninati captured the arrival (and extra luggage).

We love the stickers for this trip!

The mentors spent part of the afternoon touring a Budweiser facility, while the players prepared for the Blues.

Check back as we update this post, and post part 2 of the trip, covering tonight’s game and second leg of the trip in Dallas.
