Capitals Daily Report: Dads Everywhere as Caps Prepare for Blues Tonight

The Capitals landed in St. Louis yesterday, and held a morning skate at Scottrade Center this morning (Thursday). The Caps are set for their tilt with the Blues tonight. Puck drop is at 8:00 PM on CSN.

MORNING SKATE:
John Carlson wasn’t on the ice this morning as he’s still rehabbing from his lower body injury. In the team photo with the dads, he was in shorts and shoes. Braden Holtby will get the start tonight while Trotz will likely give Philipp Grubauer a go on Saturday night. Here are the lines:

NEWS AND NOTES:
Braden Holtby is 4-0-0 all time against St. Louis with a .949 save percentage and a 1.50 GAA. Tonight’s game is the second and final game between the Capitals and Blues. You can check out our game preview here.
