TJ Oshie Will Return To The Lineup Tonight Against Pittsburgh

The Capitals reassigned Liam O’Brien and Paul Carey to Hershey on Tuesday, which indicated the return of TJ Oshie was likely imminent. Another call-up was a very slight possibility, so confirmation would need to come after Wednesday mornings practice.

Oshie appeared to reinjure his left shoulder in Ottawa last Saturday night. Oshie collided with the Senators Dion Phaneuf in the second period of the game, and would leave the ice. TJ would try to return but left the game for good after a second collision with Phaneuf. Oshie would miss the entire game against the Canadiens on Monday.

Oshie originally suffered a separated shoulder on November 18th in a game against the Detroit Red Wings, causing him to miss seven games.
