The Hershey Bears have lost seven games in overtime this season (read more about their struggles). With two of those losses coming this weekend, the Bears won’t have time to dwell on the past as they have some big rebound games this upcoming weekend against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Binghamton Senators.
Before we officially move on to the upcoming games, let’s check out some of the action for last weekend.
Saturday
What’s that, Colby? Were you trying to sneak around Tyler Lewington?
I don’t think so.
Found someone who looks at you the way Vrana looks at Vanecek.
The Czech mates are reunited.
Djoos sporting the full faces mask and some stitches after loosing a few teeth.
Everyone gets a facemask.
Christian Thomas nets another gang-up-on-the-goalie goal and Aaron Ness hates it.
Doesn’t seem to bother Thomas though.
Caps’ fans should recognize this guy.
Slapshot and the Red Rockers came to Hershey for Caps Night. Slapshot even got sniped by a junior player.
Aaron Ness is denied by a sweet pad save from Utica goalie Thatcher Demko.
How do you feel about that save Nessie?
A young fan dances with the Red Rockers.
Sunday
Guess who got the gang-up-on-the-goalie goal on Sunday?
Yep, it was Christian Thomas.
Aaron Ness wasn’t happy about it either and he let Joe Cannata know, who just laughed it off.
So Sunday had some goals
And a fight
And an intermission interview with Jakub Vrana, who told fans to fill up the pint glass with him on it and have some fun.
Oh yeah and there was more goals.
And Zach Sanford’s two goals, including the game-tying goal with 8 seconds left, earned him second star of the game honors
