Evgeny Kuznetsov Fined for “Embellishment”

The NHL announced on Thursday that the league would be fining the Capitals Evgeny Kuznetsov $2,000 for “Diving/Embellishment”

The fine is in response to two separate incidents, one in October and one in December, in which Kuznetsov was called for “Diving/Embellishment”. The latest infraction occurred against the Devils on December 29th.

Kuznetsov was given a warning in the Capitals game at Florida on Oct. 20.
