After last night’s game in Syracuse, a couple of the Hershey Bears hit the ice for practice this morning. The goalies and the injured/scratched players were working hard on drills, but took some time to toss some pucks to the little guys in the crowd. Check it out!Ā
Riley Barber weaving sticks for a drill.
Darren Dietz is sporting a full mask after Monday’s fiasco with Phantoms’ defensemen Will O’Neill.
Vanecek laughs at Assistant Coach Reid Cashman after he blocks Cashman’s shot.
It’s good to see Barber back on the ice since he’s been out with an injury since November.
Barber is excited by a surprise appearance from Paul Carey.
“Caresy, Caresy!” Pass with me!
That looks a little swollen there Darren.
Ugh, poor guy.
Cupping. It’s happening.
Goalie Coach Scott Murray going over some pointers with Vitek Vanecek.
Joe Cannata gave his stick to this little dude who is a goalie for one of the local junior teams.
Ā But Domenic Monardo wants to make sure that he isn’t getting away with the equipment. “Hey! Get him! He’s stealing a stick!”
Who wants pucks?!?
Both the kids in the Holtby shirts got pucks tossed to them..
But the kid in the Ovechkin shirt needed to have a little chat with Monardo first.
He got a puck too.
It just took a couple of fake outs first.
“I dont know. It won’t go over”
Ahh, there you go buddy.
Monardo stole the show with the little ones.
Hockey players really are the best.
Yep, I think it’s safe to say Monardo won over some little fans today. š
