In honor of the Caps upcoming Courage Caps initiative, the sweetest little boy Seth Parrish had the opportunity to skate with the Caps this morning as part of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). TAPS is a nonprofit organization that provides comfort and care for anyone grieving the death of someone who died while serving in the military. Thursday night many more TAPS families will be at Kettler Capitals Iceplex to join Caps players Taylor Chorney, Matt Niskanen, Brooks Orpik, T.J. Oshie and Nate Schmidt as they host the Courage Caps Skating Party.
The players, coaches, and Seth all enjoyed his time with the team this morning. After the skate I had the pleasure of talking with Seth and his mom, Debbie, and taking a few last photos of him. He loves to have his picture taken and said his skate with the Caps was THE BEST! A few photos of the fun they all had today…

A walk out onto the ice with Coach Trotz.

Some skate time with T.J.Oshie.

It’s tough getting past the goalie.

OMG…that was tiring.

Thanks guys for skating with me.

Time to head home.

Just can’t stop.

Hockey is awesome even on the sidewalk.

Seth and his mom, Debbie.

I’ll be back in a few years guys…
