Capitals Visit New York Stock Exchange

The Washington Capitals enjoyed a day off in the “big apple” on Wednesday, following their win over the New York Islanders Tuesday night. Several of the players used part of their down time to visit the world-renowned New York Stock Exchange.

Daniel Winnik, Brooks Orpik, Justin Williams, Matt Niskanen, Nate Schmidt and John Carlson stopped by to stroll the famous floor, and met with financial guru Jim Cramer, and Ryan Green of Global Corporate Client Group.

For the record, four of the Capitals seven defensemen where in attendance, while only two of the Caps forwards made the visit. We’ll let you decide what that means (if anything).

Cramer’s comment to CSNBC’s Scott Wapner is a slight dig, as Wapner is a big Washington Capitals fan.
