The Washington Capitals enjoyed a day off in the “big apple” on Wednesday, following their win over the New York Islanders Tuesday night. Several of the players used part of their down time to visit the world-renowned New York Stock Exchange.
Daniel Winnik, Brooks Orpik, Justin Williams, Matt Niskanen, Nate Schmidt and John Carlson stopped by to stroll the famous floor, and met with financial guru Jim Cramer, and Ryan Green of Global Corporate Client Group.
What an experience today at the NYSE! What a place, and we got to meet the legend @jimcramer! Also, Thanks to @RyanGreenNYCpic.twitter.com/Yb4HSn2QjS

For the record, four of the Capitals seven defensemen where in attendance, while only two of the Caps forwards made the visit. We’ll let you decide what that means (if anything).
.@ScottWapnerCNBC , @Nateschmidt29, thanks for stopping by to the Washington Capital great.. Judge eat your heart out! https://t.co/9LzJFGCoLE

Cramer’s comment to CSNBC’s Scott Wapner is a slight dig, as Wapner is a big Washington Capitals fan.
