Washington Capitals prospect Shane Gersich has been heating up in his play for the University of North Dakota.
Gersich, a 5th-round draft pick (134th overall) by the Capitals in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, lit the lamp in dazzling fashion on Friday night.
The goal came in overtime against the University of Denver on Friday night. This was Gersich’s 5th goal of the season, in ten games played so far. Here are all the angles:

Gersich, a 20-year-old sophomore from Chaska, Minnesota, will become an Unrestricted Free Agent in 2018 unless he is signed by the Capitals.
