Vanecek’s First AHL Shutout Leads Bears to 4th Straight Win (Video)

Vitek Vanecek stopped 29 shots to earn his first American Hockey League shutout as the Hershey Bears (5-2-2-0) topped the Albany Devils (6-4-0-0) 4-0 on Saturday night at the GIANT Center. 

The Bears have now won four straight games and collected standings points in seven consecutive contests. Game highlights:

In the third period, Vanecek kept the Devils scoreless, stopping 14 shots to preserve the shutout. The 2nd Round selection of the Washington Capitals in the 2014 NHL Draft has won his past two starts and is 2-1-1 on the season. Coach Mann’s post-game presser:
