Colby Williams first professional goal would come at a very opportune time. The rookie defender notched his first AHL goal for the Hershey Bears 1:02 into overtime to give the Bears a 3-2 comeback victory over the Springfield Thunderbirds on Friday night.

The victory was Hershey’s third straight win and the club has now collected standings points in six straight games.

Williams, a 21-year old defenseman, signed a one-year American Hockey League contract with the Hershey Bears on July 1, 2016.
