The Washington Capitals (3-1-1) are in Edmonton, Alberta, to face the Oilers (5-1-0) tonight in the first of their four-game western Canada road trip. Puck-drop is 9:30 PM EST and will be carried on CSN.
MORNING SKATE:
The Capitals held morning skate today at 11:30 AM (MT), 1:30 PM on the east coast. The practice lines at morning skate remained the same as yesterday’s lines.
It appears Trotz will go with Andre Burakovsky on the top line (in place of Oshie), possibly to counter the speed of Edmonton’s top line. Braden Holtby will get the start in net tonight for the Caps. Mike Vogel and John Walton discuss the road trip on Today’s “Two-Man Advantage”.
