Washington Capitals Daily Report – 10/2/2016

Today marked the ninth day of Capitals’ Training Camp where Group Red and Group White each practiced separately on the two Kettler Iceplex rinks, before they faced each other in a scrimmage.

The entire Washington Capitals’ team was back in the DMV and back on the ice with Philipp Grubauer being the last to arrive from his participation on Team Europe in the World Cup of Hockey. Grubi reunited with his teammates today for the first time since training camp began.

Tom Wilson practiced for the third time since his injury this past Monday night, but didn’t participate in the scrimmage. Wilson will not be playing in tomorrow nights game against the St. Louis Blues. The roster for tomorrow night’s game can be found here:

In last night’s win over the Islanders, Madison Bowey and Marcus Johansson each went down with an injury. Both are listed as day-to-day.
