Lars Eller Scores First Goal in Preseason as a Capital

Newly acquired Lars Eller notched his first career goal in Capitals garb, giving the Capitals a 2-1 win over the Islanders on Saturday night.

Eller’s power play goal, like the Capitals first goal in the game, was setup by a nifty dish from Justin Williams.

The win was the first of the preseason for the Capitals. The Caps are back on the ice Monday night at Verizon Center when they host the St. Louis Blues.
