Braden Holtby met with the media this morning following his first training camp workout since returning from the World Cup of Hockey. The 2016 Vezina winner stated he feels he might be behind the curve with regards to preparing for the season.
According to the Washington Post, Holtby said he expressed a desire to play tonight. Holtby said getting as much game action in as possible will be important for getting ready.

If Holtby does indeed get the start tonight, it will be his first game action he’s seen since the second exhibition tune-up game against Team USA, back on Saturday, September 10th – three weeks ago.
